ISTA maintains cooperations with the University of Vienna and the Vienna University of Technology with the goal to promote participation of students in courses and seminars of the respective other institution.
Students need to enquire with their respective home institution whether externally obtained ECTS credits can be recognized and counted towards their program requirements.
Teaching a course at ISTA
Faculty, postdocs, advanced PhD students and staff members are eligible to teach courses at ISTA. If you are interested in teaching a course, you will usually need to submit a course proposal for approval by the PhD program committee by May preceding the academic year in which you would like to teach, although for certain courses out-of-cycle proposals will also be considered. New ideas and suggestions are always welcome. Course/Teaching evaluation info can be found on the Student Resources page (only accessible to ISTA users).
